We decided for an early start to beat any potential rain and wind. Before I get into that I did want to revisit the lodging for the evening. As Leisa mentioned, we lodged in a community church which has been completely converted into a cyclist hostel. It was clean and comfortable and completely met our meager needs for evening shelter, showers and kitchen facilities. I also want to touch upon the cyclist graffiti covering the walls. It was so fun to read the wall art and it was so inspiring to realize how many people actually participate in the journey of bicycle touring. Angie took the lead and created a piece for the Spokane-4 to sign.

In Lander the park was full of rodeo campers and also an Adventure Cycling tour group that was on the same route as us. We went with Jaz to his first ever Rodeo. England does not apparently have them. It was a true rodeo. We saw Relay Horse Racing for the first time. It is crazy and dangerous as riders run and jump onto horses; race around the stadium then tag another rider to do the same thing. Jaz was in awe and stayed late to see all the bull riding.

Bells and Daisy will forever remember that visit!! you got a small taste of her world
