Hi Friends,
I am so excited about my cross-country trip. This is a trip that was postponed for me by a broken hip in 2019 when another group of my friends biked across America. I am fortunate to have found three other friends to make this trip in 2022. Prior to flying out on May 17th, we will pack our bikes in cardboard bike boxes and our panniers to accompany us on the plane. When we land in Norfolk, VA we will put our bikes together in the airport and start our trip literally from there. We will make make our way to Yorktown, VA to dip our wheels in the Atlantic Ocean where it meets the York River. After that we will start the official cross-country trek of approximately 4,200 miles. I am honored to share this adventure with you on this blog. You will hear from all of us along the way. Here hoping great adventure awaits.
