Our practice trip to Couer D'Alene was an experience. We got doses of rain, hail, cold and sun. Our bikes were tested along with our tents, clothes, sleeping bags and cooking utensils - some just for the fun of it. Hills were added today as we went east to Higgins Point on Lake Couer D' Alene. No eagles were flying. We were flying on the hills back into CDA and on to Spokane. With 41 miles yesterday and 63 miles today, I think we are ready for the real adventure to start.
